The DPWG Face to Face meeting held in New York focused on building the domestic HIV prevention research agenda. Experts from the field presented on topics such as: structural interventions, gender empowerment, community-based participatory research, substance use, mental health issues, biomedical updates and a host of other topics. The entire group then defined the key gaps in domestic prevention, discussed the emergent needs, identified those amenable to network research, and began development of a new generation of research studies.
