Guidance on Acknowledgement of Support for Manuscripts Resulting from HPTN Funded Studies

Per Section 1.7 of HPTN Operating Policy HPTN011-09, all publications and presentations will include a statement acknowledging the HPTN and NIH's support for the work and listing the applicable cooperative agreement numbers, unless the journal's policy precludes such an acknowledgment. Several of the suggested acknowledgements below require adding cooperative agreement numbers, a list of cooperative agreement numbers for participating organizations is available here

If other institutions at NIH provided additional funding and/or support for your study, an acknowledgement of that support is also required.  Contact your Project Officer at that institute for guidance.

If you have any questions regarding these acknowledgments or other concerns please contact Karen Quick (kquick@fhi360 .org).
