QA/QC Questions

Q.  Can QA/QC Coordinators audit pharmacies?

A.  The DAIDS Pharmaceutical Affairs Branch has trained pharmacy personnel to audit pharmacies.  QA/QC Coordinators are not permitted to audit pharmacies.  For more information please contact Scharla Estep (se109s@nih.gov).

Q.  Why aren't the QA/QC Coordinators on the distribution list in the Operating Policy on Reporting of Protocol Events?

A.  The Operating Policy on Reporting of Protocol Events (HPTN015) has been revised and the QA/QC Coordinator is now on  the distribution list.  The revised policy was published in December 2005.
