Stephanie Williams, JD, MS, is the Regulatory Affairs Officer for the HIV Prevention Trials Network Laboratory Center (HPTN LC) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In this role, Ms. Williams provides leadership and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance with laboratory operations for the HPTN LC. Ms. Williams has over thirteen years of experience working on clinical trials and is a certified clinical research coordinator. Ms. Williams conducted her own research exploring ways to increase the numbers of ethnic and racial minorities participating in clinical research trials. She has worked extensively on ethical considerations involved in human research and on addressing health disparities among ethnic and racial minority populations.
