Hyman Scott

Hyman Scott, MD, MPH is the Clinical Research Medical Director at Bridge HIV in the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. His research focus is on implementation of HIV prevention clinical trials within the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN), HIV Vaccine Network (HVTN), Microbicides Trial Network (MTN), and Adolescent Trials Network (ATN). He also conducts research using technology to expand uptake of HIV/STI testing and PrEP, and address racial/ethnic disparities in HIV incidence. Dr. Scott is an HIV and PrEP provider at the Positive Health Program (Ward 86) and leads PrEP implementation within SFDPH primary care clinics.
