Nomtha Bell-Mandla is a public health researcher involved in UTT development and implementation and a PhD (Public health) scholar at Stellenbosch University Faculty of Health Sciences. She has acquired extensive experience in the implementation of large HIV prevention trials through HPTN 071. She seeks to develop further as a researcher in the HIV prevention field of work and wish to play a significant role in the acquiring of new evidence to prevent and reduce the spread of HIV and AIDS in Southern Africa and globally.
