Sexually Transmitted Infections (STISC)
The Sexually Transmitted Infections Science Committee (STISC) works to generate research proposals and review protocols that explore how STI prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies can complement HIV prevention efforts and improve sexual health outcomes. This committee includes experts focused on the biological, behavioral, and structural factors of STIs that intersect with HIV prevention research and help shape strategies that reduce both HIV and STI burdens in communities most affected.
